Professional baseball player Noah Hall will lead the NEW Next Generation Baseball camps at MARA for 4-day sessions in June and July. Coach Hall played and coached for more than 19 years with the Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles and Expos. He also coached Ty Buttrey, former MARA player, who is currently with the Boston Red Sox!


These fun and instructional camps are designed for the growth and development of players ages 6-12. All camp sessions are 9 am – 2 pm at MARA, 1200 S. Trade Street, Matthews, NC 28105. 


Level 1 Camp, ages 6 – 8

·        Hitting, throwing and fielding

·        Skills competitions

·        Fun events and a variety of outdoor games   

·        Players will be grouped based upon their age and skill level


Cost: $175 per session

Session 1: June 18-21

Session 2: July 16-19


Level 2 Camp, ages 9 – 12

·        Basic skills along with infield, outfield, base running and conditioning

·        Pitching clinic

·        Skills competitions

·        Daily baseball games to provide immediate feedback on your player’s growth

·        A personal development plan at the end of each camp

·        Players will be grouped based upon their age and skill level


Cost: $225 per session

Session 1: June 25-28

Session 2: July 23-26


All NGB players will receive a t-shirt* and swag bag included with their registration fee.

*T-shirt may not be available to late registrants - so register early!


Prepaid Lunch Option:

Option to purchase lunch for four days is available at an additional $30/session during registration ONLY. If you do not select the prepaid lunch option, you must pack lunch daily. The concession stand will not have extra meals. All lunches include entree, chips, a cookie pack and a Powerade.


Monday – Turkey Sandwich

Tuesday – Hotdog

Wednesday – Hamburger/Cheeseburger

Thursday – Pizza


If your player has a food allergy we ask that you pack a lunch each day as our concessions facility cannot handle special dietary requests.


Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Cancellations made two weeks prior to the starting date of each camp session will be refunded $75/Level 1 camp and $125/Level 2 camp of the registration fee. After this deadline, no refunds will be given. Only exception is illness or injury supported by doctor’s note will be refunded the full amount minus $25 processing fee.


Rain Policy:

Camps are rain or shine. Arthur Goodman Park has a state of the art weather detection system. If the alarm sounds during the camp, campers will be moved to a safe location. If the weather does require us to stay off the fields we may use Friday as a makeup day.  



What to Bring: A glove and bat is all you need, but feel free to bring any equipment you’d like (label all items!)

Lunch: Pack a lunch daily or prepay lunch at registration. No extra meals will be available for purchase during the camp.

Snacks/Drinks: Pack daily snacks & a drink. Water will be provided, but bring a water bottle for refills

Sunscreen: Make sure your camper puts this on before camp and brings extra to reapply

Clothing: Cool & comfortable, cleats are allowed and don’t forget a hat!

Breaks: Water breaks will be taken throughout the day, as well as 30-45 minutes for lunch.

Communication: Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey will be passed on to you via the email address you supply at registration so include all necessary family emails. This will eliminate any confusion and/or miscommunication.
