Successful completion of the 2018 Fall Season

Successful Completion to the 218 Fall Softball Season

Another great season is in the books for MARA Softball. MARA Softball finished the season with 2 teams finishing the End of Season tournament in the Championship games.

The 8U Fillies under Head Coach Mike Lawrence won the CharMeck Softball Championship today finishing the regular season with a record of 8 - 1 - 1 and going undefeated (5-0) in the End of Season Tournament.  The 13U Stampede under Head Coach Sabrina Reynolds came in as Runners Up in the CharMeck Softball End of Season Tournament. The 13U Stampede finished in the regular season with a 7 - 3 record and going 5 - 2 in the tournament finishing Runners Up.

Overall, the rest of the MARA softball teams at the 8U, 10U, and 13U levels were all competitive in CharMeck Softball. The teams were well balanced with veterans and new players. Each player improved from the first practice of the season to the last at bat in the tournament. The long time players were the leaders, helped the new players, while makeing new friends. It was amazing to see teams come together as the players became sisters on the field. We look forward to seeing the players come back in Spring. Many of the veterans will be aging up allowing for the younger players to step in and fill the role as leaders and role models for the new and less experienced players. We also say farewell to those girls aging out of 13U. We wish them the best in their next endeavours in this journey of life. They will always be a MARA softball player.

MARA Mustangs Travel Softball

The 12U MARA Mustangs are an established team entering their 6th season of participation in the travel/tournament ball. They are looking to add a few players (2006 birth years) to their roster.  Their schedule will be challenging as they plan to compete as an 'A' level team in 12U.  Tryouts will be on Sunday, November 4th at 5PM on Field 10 at MARA.  Arrangements can be made for a tryout on an individual basis as needed. Please contact Head Coach Melissa Williams at   with any questions or to indicate interest.

The 14U MARA Mustangs will be formed from the group of players (2005 birth years) aging up from the 12U Williams team with the remaining 14U Hite players (2004 and 2005 birth years). The team may have a roster opening pending final commitments from returning players. Please contact Head Coach Scott Casey at with any questions or to indicate interest.
