YMCA Youth Hockey Tournament Teams Summer Clinics

        YMCA Youth Hockey Tournament Teams Summer Clinics will be for our new advanced youth hockey option. These clinics will be for players that were on our teams this past year and for those planning on trying out for the tournament teams this coming season or for those players that want a higher level clinic. These clinics will be for intermediate to advanced players. These clinics will be a high intensity skate focusing on individual skill development. We will skate one night a week for nine weeks with no skate the week of July 4th.

Girls Only Hockey Clinic
       This will be a skill development clinic for girls only, ages 6-17. Individual skills including power skating, stick handling, passing and shooting will be emphasized with some team tactics and scrimmage time. Come take your game to the next level. Clinics run Monday - Thursday.

  CLINIC DATES:     #1     June 10-13      2:45-4:45pm

                                  #2   July 29 - August 1      9:30-11:30am

YMCA YOUTH HOCKEY CLINICS

      Improve your game over the summer. All clinics run Monday-Thursday. Clinics will consist of skating drills, puck handling drills, shooting and passing. Team tactics and some scrimmage time will be included each week. Theses clinics are for beginner through advanced players. Full gear is required.

 YMCA YOUTH GOALIE CLINIC #1 JUNE 24 - 27 and  #2 JULY 15 - 18

       This clinic will cover all aspects of goaltending. Skating for goalies, stance, angles, saves and puck control and game situations. Players will be grouped by age and ability. This clinic is for ages 6 - 17. All clinics run Monday-Thursday,  2:45-4:45pm.

Instructional Hockey Class (4-10 years)

Season: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall - Sundays 11:55am-12:45pm 
Age: 4-10 years old
Location: Arapahoe YMCA
  

This is a great place to start playing hockey if your child has little to no experience playing ice hockey. Participants must be able to skate forward on their own with out their parents on the ice. Full equipment is required for this class.  If your child has never skated before please ask about our Learn to Skate program to get him or her started.

YMCA Youth Hockey League

Season: Fall and Winter Seasons
Age: 1st-12th Grade
Location: Arapahoe YMCA
Price: $260 members,  $335 non members

A 12 game, NO CHECK, recreational hockey league for youth of all levels. Full gear is required. Teams have one weekday practice and a game on Saturday or Sunday; the high school league will have a 1/2 hour practice followed by a game on Sunday afternoon.
